Tomorrow Daisy turns 8 years old. I can’t believe it! She chose to celebrate by having her friend Emily over for a sleepover, building a bear at Build a Bear and topping it off with cake and ice cream.
Daisy is our most stubborn AND sweetest kid. I’ll take credit for the stubbornness and give credit to Sheila for the sweetness.
When she has her mind on something she won’t change it…at least not without a lot of resistance. And yet, she has the capacity to show the most compassion. She is the first to give a hug. She is the first to feel sad for someone. She is the first to want to help when there is a need. I can definitely see her becoming a missionary or serving in some kind of humanitarian role.
I can’t wait to see God’s purpose come to fruition in her life.
